Using Virginie Millefiori website signifies your agreement with the policies stated below.
Payment

Sales Tax

All New York State purchases will be charged the mandatory 8.875% state sales tax.

Payment methods

We accept credit cards (MasterCard, Visa, Amex) via paypal invoices. You are not required to have a PayPal account to order, it is merely used as a secure way to submit payment. We accept paper checks/e-checks but production will only start once it has cleared at our bank.

Packaging & Shipping

Shipping

delay before your order is shipped.
-if the items you purchased were stated as in stock at the time of your order, they will be shipped no later than 3 business days after the day of your order.
-if the items you purchased were stated as out of stock at the time of your order, please allow us 3 weeks of fabrication before your items ship. In some cases it might be even shorter.
Mail carrier:
Shipping is via USPS Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation for the US only and via USPS flat rate for the rest of the world. Shipping and handling charges will be determined once your order is placed.
We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages, you are welcome to purchase insurance for your package or request another carrier like UPS Ground or Fedex at your own expenses, just send an email to info@virginiemillefiori.com including your shipping specifications and the reference number of your order.

Packaging and gift giving

Your item will arrive ready for gift giving in a recycled kraft paper gift box filled with cotton batting and with a Virginie Millefiori qualitative jewelry card. The box will be protected with bubble wrap itself and shipped in a padded envelop to protect your jewelry and prepare for transit.
If you are sending a gift directly to someone, leave instructions in the comments section at checkout and we will enclose a small tag with your message and of course we will not include the invoice in the parcel.

Special Orders

Custom orders

ALL CUSTOM ORDERS ARE FINAL SALE
Accepted types of orders:

-you have seen a piece of jewelry on Virginie Millefiori website and you would like a slight customization: you would like to have it in a different metal like silver or gold or you would like another enamel color.
-you like a design seen on Virginie Millefiori website and you would like to have it in a different size or used in a different type of jewelry. For example you would take the design of a ring and have a headband of the same style.

How to proceed:

for any custom order, once you have verified your request falls into one of the two categories stated above please send an email to info@virginiemillefiori.com with the most detailed information. We will get back to you with questions until we both agree on a design. Once the design is approved by both part, you will be given a quotation and estimated delay for production. To launch the production of your piece, 50% of the total amount is requested. The balance is due upon shipment of the finished piece.

Wholesale

If you are a buyer and are interested in carrying Virginie Millefiori Jewelry in your shop, please send an email to wholesale@virginiemillefiori.com and tell us about the other brands you carry, your shop range of products and your location. We will get back to you with order forms and ordering information.

Customer Service

Returns & Exchanges

We try to accurately depict our products and hope that you will enjoy wearing your jewelry. Each piece of jewelry is meticulously made by hand in our New York based studio which make it unique and beautiful and may result in very slight modification from the picture you saw on the website. If the piece you received is not what you expected, you may return your unworn undamaged jewelry in its original packaging for store credit or exchange within 7 days of receipt at your own shipping expenses. Please send an email to return@virginiemillefiori.com to inform us of the reason why you are returning the item and please also provide your original order number so we can give you store credit once we receive the merchandise in the same condition as it shipped.
Original shipping costs are non-refundable and customer is kindly responsible for return shipping via USPS with delivery confirmation.

Care of the jewelry

Be gentle with your jewelry, handle it with care and when you don't wear it, store it in the cute jewelry box you were provided with your purchase.
To keep your jewelry in the best possible condition for a very long time, avoid heat, dust and humidity. Do not wear while washing or swimming and do not store it in a bathroom.
If tarnishing occurs, just wipe gently with a soft cotton cloth. Sterling silver can be very efficiently cleaned with Blanc de Meudon, you can find in drugstore.

Repairs

The quality of our handcrafted jewelry and your satisfaction are essential to us. If your jewelry is in need of repair within 3 months of receipt based on normal usage, simply e-mail your problem to info@virginiemillefiori.com . When shipping the damaged piece, send us the item along with your original receipt. If charges apply we will notify you prior to beginning repair.

Private policy

We respect your privacy and do not share any of the personal information that you provide. Your account information on virginiemillefiori.com is saved for your convenience and for our internal use only, we do not share any information you provided with a third party.
